Gross to Net/AR Analyst or Senior Analyst

Regular Full-Time


The Accounts Receivable and Gross to Net Analyst plays a key role in the Assertio’s accounts receivable and gross-to-net operations. The individual will be transacting, summarizing, and providing accurate and timely information for management, external and internal auditors. The focus of the Finance Department is Business Transaction and General Ledger Integrity in a fully compliant and controlled environment. Key responsibilities include a wide range of general ledger, evaluating and analyzing data, month end close, account reconciliations, resolving accounts receivable issues, analyzing return lot responsibility, and preparing various internal and external financial reports in compliance with GAAP.


Essential Functions

  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Aging Process
  • Investigate and resolve issues in accounts receivable and rebates
  • Manage return lot responsibility for divested products
  • Support in product return approval process
  • Prepare invoice details for any 3rd party related gross-to-net expenses
  • Aid Gross-to-Net Reporting and Product Sales 
  • Assist with monthly gross-to-net financial management report
  • Assist in preparing gross-to-net discount analytics
  • Prepare managed care rebate analytics
  • Assist in government pricing calculations and compliance
  • Aid in preparing actual versus budget and forecast analyses
  • Assist with corporate forecasting and budgeting process
  • Weekly tracking of product shipments
  • Ad-hoc analysis financial analysis and modeling


Education and Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or finance is required
  • CPA desired
  • Minimum 3 years prior experience in the accounts receivable and/or gross-to-net area.
  • Prior experience in a Pharmaceutical/Biotech Company preferred, but not required.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel, MS Office, Outlook.
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations system is preferred.
