We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Sales Representative with a focus on Pediatric Neurology and Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS) to join our team in Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue, developing relationships with healthcare professionals specializing in pediatric neurology, and promoting our products and services tailored to patients with LGS.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting Epilepsy Centers of Excellence to achieve sales targets and increase market share within the pediatric neurology/LGS space.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, neurologists, epileptologists, and other healthcare professionals within Epilepsy Centers of Excellence.
  • Provide in-depth product education and training to healthcare professionals on the use and benefits/risks of Sympazan (clobazam) oral film for patients with LGS.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional strategies, materials, and programs tailored to Epilepsy Centers of Excellence.
  • Represent the company at epilepsy-related conferences, seminars, and other events to engage with key stakeholders and drive awareness of our offerings.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback within Epilepsy Centers of Excellence to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Building and maintain disease, market, and product knowledge including clear understanding of brand objectives, goals, campaigns, messages, and strategies.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, with a focus on pediatric neurology, epilepsy, and/or rare diseases such as LGS.
  • Strong knowledge of epilepsy care, treatment protocols, and the healthcare landscape within Epilepsy Centers of Excellence.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel within Texas and potentially nationally for industry events and conferences.
  • Prior experience with Patient Advocacy or Foundations a plus

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Physical Requirements

 

  • This position requires regular travel within the Texas region to visit Epilepsy Centers of Excellence, attend meetings with healthcare professionals, and represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Repetitive motion: Substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and or fingers for sustained periods of time. Approximately 6-hours of keyboarding per day.
  • Visual Requirements: Able to see and read PC screens and read fine print.
  • Comprehension: Ability to understand opposing points of view on highly complex issues and to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints. 
  • Decision Making: Ability to make decisions which have impact on the department’s credibility, operations, and services.
  • Communication: Ability to formulate complex and comprehensive materials such as legal documents, authoritative reports, official publications of major scope and impact, etc and to make formal presentations. 
  • Mathematics:  Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes.
