JOB SUMMARY
The Director, Commercial Operations will lead the development and execution of commercial support functions for Assertio, focused on Oncology, Neurology, Pain and Inflammation. This individual will oversee field sales operations processes including incentive compensation, territory alignment, targeting, CRM, and commercial reporting.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Design and manage incentive compensation plans that align with commercial strategies
- Lead territory alignment and targeting activities for field sales teams
- Oversee CRM operations and field data quality (e.g., Veeva CRM)
- Develop commercial reporting and dashboards using SQL, Excel, and Power BI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Market Access, and Finance
- Drive process improvement initiatives across Commercial Operations
- Contribute to business planning and forecasting through data-driven insights
- Support government pricing and GPO contracting operations
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Science, Math, or Engineering preferred
- Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Commercial Operations or similar functions
- Experience with field sales operations including incentive compensation, CRM, and reporting
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred
- Experience with buy-and-bill, government pricing, and GPO contracting is highly preferred
SKILLS and ABILITIES: - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Power BI, and Veeva CRM or demonstrated ability with similar technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, fast-paced environment
